So now (0riginal post was dated 12/13/11?)we all can be curators of our ‘collections’. Pinterest is a visual, sharp, cool way to . collect, post, share and discover things you enjoy. http://pinterest.com/ It’s easy to follow what your friends are pinning, too, thereby getting a sense of their style and favorites. Another fun, but less visual, curating site is Scoop.it http://www.scoop.it/u/lori-marie-cuene/topics/followed There is a ton of info on “content curation”, collective intelligence, ‘group think’ and on and on etc… Can’t even imagine what the future might hold. Good thing, too as it would be staggering, even mind blowing! literally. With so much information at our fingertips…it is understandable that technology, social media and progress in general is unfolding exponentially! Rapidly! On a down side..our kids are showing low tolerance for waiting, very little patience for anything that doesn’t provide them with that immediate response! Oh, no..that urgent need for immediate gratification does not bode well. But the benefits of this vast amount of activity and proliferation of tangible ideas likely outweigh the detriments. Suddenly we are able to connect with others who share our passions regardless of geographic or logistical barriers and challenges. So I’ll continue to enjoy and be grateful for all the new finds and new friends across this great big world of ours. And it really does just keep getting better and better as we reach out and share our hearts freely, openly and in pursuit of learning, growth and positive change~
Creating a reality we've only dreamt of-the eternal quest towards authenticity.Building bridges, making connections-heart to heart, while in pursuit of like minded characters. Reimagining a personal narative and finding our place in the bigger picture. We all have a story to share, and through these relationships we are made better. The human need to listen and be heard. Ageless, timeless, Love knows no boundaries. Connecting through creativity, cultures, community and the Common Good. And it starts with me. Grateful for YOU!
