Good for Business recently launched MAP : Message And Purpose (MAP)

Like Good for Business, Message And Purpose (MAP) is driven by the realization that businesses aren’t just brands to be built, but causes to be believed in.™ MAP is dedicated to helping businesses, nonprofits, social entrepreneurs and change agents realize their purpose or ‘why’, and then create a unique MAP that serves as a clear guide for making that purpose come to life for your culture, customers, community and other core constituencies.

Message And Purpose is not an ad agency, design studio, marketing consultancy, public relations outfit or traditional branding firm.MAP provides an immediate means of seeing if you are on track or veering off course. MAP helps inspire your culture to connect and communicate with a real sense of meaning and commitment. MAP shows the way for effectively telling your purpose-led story to your customers and constituencies.

Red Bull Gives You a Business Strategy

See on Scoop.itConnectedness

… When most people think about the word story, they think about a narrative like “ Jack and Jill went up the hill.” Most of us have been taught that there are two basic kinds of story: fiction and nonfiction.

Metastory is actually a third kind of story. Metastory is story that is told through action. It is not a story that you say, it’s a story that you do. Every individual has one. And every company has one too.

The reason this is so important is that people are already innate storydoers themselves. They use the story of your brand or business to tell part of their own personal metastory. Put another way, people don’t buy products; they take actions that help advance their own personal metastory. As we grow up, all of us learn to manage our own metastory through our actions — the car we drive, the clothes we wear. All of these choices are components that we know people around us will use to piece our metastory together….

Lori Marie Cuene‘s insight:

A Metastory, an action story, a story through action- It’s YOU and your story, as defined by the actions you live out…

The heart clearly sees things denied to the eyes. You have to be careful not to blind its sight with anger or bitterness. -Dodinsky

Innovation Excellence | The Seven Essential Characteristics of Innovative Companies

See on Scoop.itConnectedness

What makes for an innovative company? An innovation initiative is not enough.

Lori Marie Cuene‘s insight:

When a dedicated group of ACTION oriented DOERS have the green light to create and implement, things get done! Most businesses have a lot of creative employees with a lot of ideas. Some of those ideas are even relevant to companies’ needs. However, one thing that differentiates innovators from wannabe innovators is that innovators implement ideas. Less innovative companies talk more about ideas than implementing them!
